F-RAT system (Flat Right Angle Transfer), designed by Itoh-Denki is used to change the direction of transmitted loads transported on the conveyor line. Characteristic of this solution is its very compact structure where the drive fits in its bearing surface while the height is only 15 cm. The maximum conveyed weight is 50 kg. Goods can be moved in any direction. The 90 degree angle transfer is possible due to alternating rising and falling motorised rollers, spanned between electronically driven belts. During the entire operation the position of transported surface does not change in regards to the conveyor module. The loads do not have to be lifted therefore there is no need to use pneumatic elements, allowing further energy saving and increase in the system capacity up to 150% when compared to traditional transfers. The device is also quiet and there are no vibrations.
