Pallet conveyors (accumulated gravity storage). Modified version of typical roller tracks allowing pallet storage with gravitational feed. What this means in practice is as follows: during pallet loading, forklift pushes the pallet “upwards’ on sloped tracks, whilst during unloading, pallet is taken off from the same side while the next pallet slides into the first pallets original place on its own accord. LIFO System Last In – First Out.

In storage situations where pallet unloading is not required these conveyors also meet their tasks. When a forklift loads a pallet, it moves gravitationally on “downward’’ sloped rails. This however requires additional stopping devices. Track length should be 100mm longer then the pallet being stored.
